HAMPTON ROADS WATER GARDENS is your one-stop pond supply shop. We have a full inventory to build and maintain any water garden, small and large! We are also available for advice geared to the Hampton Roads area and local conditions. We have a combined pond care experience of over 60 years. We test every new product we carry before we sell it and we will not carry any product that we will not use ourselves. This allows us to knowledgeably answer your questions. Finding good pond care advice is not always easy. Online you will find wildly conflicting advice. We are here to help you get the right information and products!
Jeff Halvorson: Owner & Koi Pond Expert for over 24 years and involved in ponds for over 50 years. Jeff has been working with ponds since building one as a teenager for his dad in 1969 and has solutions for all your pond building needs and maintenance.
Dawn Penman: Co-owner with extensive knowledge in building a beautiful, worry free pond. She also has over 13 years of Koi Health and surgery/medical treatment experience. She has a wealth of knowledge in identifying and treating Koi health problems. She is also an expert in her field in water quality analysis.
Claudia Herrera: Claudia is new to the pond industry. She has become an enthusiastic hobbyist, and fallen in love with ponds, plants, and fish!
Shop Mascots: Our shop animals include Princess the fat cat, Little Bit the sweet grey kitty, Captain Hook the adventurous cat, and Jonas the Wildman kitty. Maxi, Kirby, and Sebastian are the happy shop dogs!
